BIXOLON SPP-L410
BIXOLON SPP-L410 is a battery-powered mobile label printer — a 4-inch thermal printer small enough to wear on a belt and print where the work happens. It prints labels at the shelf, at the delivery, on the loading dock or in the field, which removes the walk back to a desktop printer and the mistakes that come with printing a batch of labels and matching them up later.
What it is for
The SPP-L410 prints labels, not receipts. Typical work:
- Retail — shelf-edge labels, price changes and markdowns printed at the shelf instead of at a back-office PC
- Warehouse and logistics — pallet and carton labels applied where goods are received, re-labelling at the dock
- Field service and delivery — asset tags, service labels and proof-of-delivery labels printed on site
- Inventory work — labelling items as they are counted rather than in a second pass
Which version should you choose?
All SPP-L410 models print at 203 dpi using direct thermal — no ribbon to carry or change, which is what makes mobile printing practical. The difference between part numbers is how the printer connects.
| Part number contains | Connectivity | Choose when |
|---|---|---|
| i — e.g. SPP-L410iK5 | Bluetooth + USB + RS232 | Printing from a handheld terminal, phone or tablet carried by the same person — the most common mobile setup |
| W — e.g. SPP-L410WK5 | Wi-Fi + USB + RS232 | Printing from a system on the site network, or where several people send jobs to the same printer |
| Neither | USB + RS232 only | Fixed or cabled use — the printer stays connected to one device |
Bluetooth is the usual choice for a worker walking a warehouse or shop floor with a terminal in hand. Wi-Fi makes sense when the print job comes from a server or shared application rather than the device in the user's pocket.
Direct thermal print fades over time, so the SPP-L410 suits shelf, picking and logistics labels rather than asset tags that must stay readable for years.
All SPP-L410 printers below are CE certified and covered by manufacturer warranty. Matching thermal labels are available from stock.
