CipherLab 2200 Presentation Scanner (A2200NBEM0201)

The CipherLab 2200 is a compact corded presentation scanner for checkout counters, service desks and transport check-in counters. Its 2D imager reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes omnidirectionally – including QR codes, PDF417 boarding passes and mobile coupons – from paper labels as well as phone screens; customers and staff simply present the code. The integrated adjustable stand tilts 40° forward and 15° back so that awkwardly shaped items are easy to scan, and a trigger lets you scan large items like a handheld scanner. IP52 sealing and a 1.5 m drop rating make it ready for everyday use. This version, A2200NBEM0201, uses the N4680 standard range imager (640 × 480 CMOS sensor, warm white illumination) – reads low-contrast codes down to 20% PCS and EAN-13 barcodes up to 24 cm away. It is the complete RS232 kit: supplied with an RS232 (serial) cable, a 5 V power supply with EU power cord and a locking mount bracket – everything needed for a serial connection.

• Easy setup – configure with setup barcodes or the Windows-based CipherLab ScanMaster software: data editing, interface selection and symbology settings; 15 keyboard languages.

Not sure which version to choose? All versions are the same CipherLab 2200 presentation scanner – they differ only in the imager and in what is in the box. For PCs and POS systems with a USB port, choose a USB version (A2200NBUN0001, A2200NBUN0201 or A2200NBUM0001) – it is powered via USB. For a serial connection, choose an RS232 version: A2200NBEM0001 and A2200NBEM0201 include the required 5 V power supply, A2200NBRN0001 and A2200NBRM0001 do not. Versions A2200NBUM0001, A2200NBRM0001, A2200NBEM0001 and A2200NBEM0201 also include the locking mount bracket. The SM2 imager (…0001) offers wider reading angles and keyboard wedge support, while the N4680 imager (…0201) reads low-contrast codes and EAN-13 from slightly further away.
