Datalogic QuickScan QM2131 Barcode Scanner (QM2131-BK-433K2)

The Datalogic QuickScan QM2131 is a cordless 1D linear imager that uses Datalogic's STAR 2.0 Cordless System on the 433 MHz band instead of Bluetooth – for a secure radio link with no risk of interference from Wi-Fi infrastructure and very low sensitivity to obstacles such as concrete walls or metal shelves. Its extra-wide 56° scan angle and sharp, extra-long scan line make long barcodes on bills, documents and packaging easy to read, Datalogic's Green Spot confirms every good read, and a tool-free replaceable 1400 mAh battery lasts for 30,000+ reads per charge. The BC2030 433 MHz base station charges the scanner and connects it to your PC or POS via USB, RS-232 or keyboard wedge. It comes with a 3-year Datalogic warranty. This version, QM2131-BK-433K2, is black and is supplied as a complete RS-232 kit with the BC2030 433 MHz base station, an RS-232 cable and a power supply with EU power cord.

• 1D linear imager – reads all standard 1D barcodes, including GS1 DataBar and EAN/UPC composites. Please note: it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes or Data Matrix; for those, choose the 2D Datalogic QuickScan QM2500.
• Extra-wide scan angle and extra-long scan line – a 56° field of view and a sharp, highly visible scan line make long barcodes easy to read even at close distance.
• Enhanced depth of field – from 1 cm up to 45 cm on 13 mil EAN/UPC and up to 70 cm on 20 mil codes, resolution down to 4 mil and 400 reads per second.
• Interference-free STAR radio – Datalogic's STAR Cordless System on the 433 MHz band with two-way communication and up to 25 m range (open air); it is not disturbed by busy Bluetooth and Wi-Fi traffic and is less sensitive to obstacles.
• Tool-free replaceable battery – a 1400 mAh Li-ion pack lasts for 30,000+ reads per charge, and each new battery pack also renews the charging contacts. Charge in the base or through the Micro USB port on the scanner foot.
• Batch mode – stores more than 500 barcodes in memory when you are out of range and sends them once the connection is restored.
• Datalogic Green Spot – a green light projected onto the barcode confirms every good read, even in noisy environments.
• Easy integration, built to last – the BC2030 base offers USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge multi-interface; free Datalogic Aladdin configuration tool, OPOS/JavaPOS utilities and remote host download; withstands repeated 1.5 m drops, IP42, 3-year warranty.
