The Epson TM-U220A is the fully equipped version of Epson's classic TM-U220 impact receipt printer: it combines an auto-cutter with a built-in journal take-up, so the copy of every receipt printed on 2-ply paper is wound up inside the printer for audit and archiving – ideal for retail, hospitality and public-sector counters that must keep a paper journal. The 9-pin mechanism prints on 76 mm plain or carbonless paper at up to 6 lines per second, in black or in black and red. This version, C31C513057, is the serial model with an exchangeable RS-232 interface board (Epson UB-S01); it ships with the Epson AC adapter, a ribbon cassette and a paper roll – the power cord and the interface cable are ordered separately.
