The Honeywell Vuquest 3320g is a compact, corded 2D presentation (hands-free) scanner for counters, kiosks and self-service terminals. At just 73 × 51 × 26 mm it fits where larger scanners cannot, reads 1D, PDF417 and 2D barcodes – including codes on phone screens – with laser-free aiming, and detects the host interface automatically. This version, 3320G-4, uses the Standard Range (SR) focus for everyday codes, has a light grey housing and is supplied as the scanner only – an interface cable is not included.

⚠️ Please note: this version does not include a cable. The scanner cannot be connected to a computer or POS system without one, so please order an interface cable separately – for most setups the Honeywell USB cable 52-52559-N-3-FR is the right choice. Alternatively, choose a version that already includes a USB cable (see the comparison table below).
💡 Mounting: the 3320g works in hands-free presentation mode – it reads a code as soon as it is presented. Thanks to its compact size and universal mounting points it is designed to be built into counters, kiosks and self-service terminals; a stand or mounting hardware is not included.

- Standard Range (SR) focus – reads everyday 1D and 2D codes from close up to about 43 cm (13 mil UPC-A), with a resolution of 5 mil for 1D and 6.7 mil for 2D codes.
- Compact presentation design – just 73 × 51 × 26 mm and 77 g; universal mounting makes it easy to build into counters, kiosks, ticket gates and self-service terminals.
- Reads phone screens – Adaptus Imaging Technology 6.0 reads 1D, PDF417 and 2D codes from labels as well as from mobile phone and computer screens (mobile tickets, coupons, boarding passes).
- Hands-free presentation mode – the scanner reads a code as soon as it is presented; a thumb-activated button and indicator LEDs are available for triggered use.
- Laser-free aiming, unobtrusive illumination – a clear aiming indication without laser eye-safety concerns, and lighting that is gentle on users and customers.
- Automatic interface detection – USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge in one device; the scanner recognises the host interface by itself, so no programming barcodes are needed (RS-232 usually needs a 5 V power supply, sold separately).
- TotalFreedom 2.0 and flexible licensing – load decoding and data-formatting plug-ins directly on the scanner and add capabilities such as OCR or EasyGS1 later by purchasing a licence.
- Durable – IP53 sealed, designed to withstand 1.5 m drops, operates from −20 °C to 50 °C and comes with a 2-year Honeywell warranty.
