Its white anti-microbial, disinfectant-ready housing can be cleaned regularly with a wide variety of cleaning solutions, its High Density (HD) optics read small codes on medication, wristbands and specimen tubes at the first attempt, and patient-friendly modes such as Patient Do-Not-Disturb and vibration feedback help keep patients undisturbed. It is backed by a 5-year Honeywell warranty. This version, 1960HHD-5USB-R, is a USB kit: the scanner plus a 3 m USB cable, ready to plug in and scan.
