Newland HR33 Marlin Series Barcode Scanner (NLS-HR3300-S5)

The Newland HR33 Marlin is a stylish, well-balanced 2D handheld scanner for demanding everyday scanning. Its 1280 × 800 megapixel CMOS sensor, cross-laser aimer and Newland's latest decoding technology capture all common 1D and 2D barcodes – including QR codes, Data Matrix, PDF417 and DotCode – as well as damaged, distorted and high-density codes, and its OCR function even reads passports. With IP52 sealing, a 1.5 m drop rating, beep, LED and vibration feedback and a 5-year warranty, the HR33 is built for busy counters. It is available as a corded scanner for USB or RS-232 and as a cordless Bluetooth® version. This version, NLS-HR3300-S5, is the corded USB kit: it is supplied with a coiled USB cable (CBL030UA), ready to plug in and scan.

• EasySet and advanced scripting – configure the scanner with Newland's EasySet software or use advanced scripting to program complex data formatting and commands.
• USB or RS-232 – over USB it works as a USB keyboard (USB-KBW), virtual COM port (USB-CDC) or HID-POS device; the NLS-HR3300-S8 kit adds an RS-232 cable and a power adapter for POS systems with a serial interface.
• Hands-free scanning – the smart adjustable auto-sense stand (included with NLS-HR3300-SA) or the NLS-STD30i gooseneck stand switches the scanner automatically to presentation mode.
