Zebra ZT421 Label Printer (ZT42163-T2E0000Z)

The Zebra ZT421 is a 6-inch industrial label printer from Zebra's ZT400 Series, built for round-the-clock labelling in manufacturing, warehouses, transport and logistics, retail distribution and healthcare. Its metal frame and space-saving bi-fold metal door fit into tight spaces, and the 4.3-inch colour touch display makes setup and daily operation simple. As a thermal transfer printer that also prints direct thermal, it handles durable labels on paper and synthetic materials as well as ribbon-free shipping labels. It prints sharp 300 dpi labels up to 168 mm wide at up to 254 mm/s (10 ips). This version, ZT42163-T2E0000Z, is fitted with a front-mounted guillotine cutter with catch tray for cut labels and tags; it connects via USB 2.0, two USB Host ports, RS-232 serial, Ethernet 10/100 and Bluetooth 4.1. EU and UK power cords are included; the USB interface cable must be ordered separately.

Which ZT400 printer should you choose? The ZT411 prints up to 104 mm wide and is available in 203, 300 and 600 dpi; the ZT421 prints up to 168 mm wide for large labels such as A5 shipping or GHS drum labels (203 or 300 dpi). 203 dpi suits most barcodes and shipping labels, 300 dpi gives crisper small text and 2D codes, and 600 dpi is designed for tiny labels on electronics and components.
